Maja Andlovic is an accomplished community manager and communications specialist with over 8 years of experience in the field. Her expertise has been instrumental in several successful projects and campaigns, including the European Vocational Skills Week and DigiEduHack, both of which are aimed at promoting digital education and skills development across Europe.
Maja holds a Master's degree in EU Policy Making from King's College London, which has helped her develop a deep understanding of the European policy landscape and the unique challenges faced by businesses and organizations operating in the region.

Sergio Ascari

- Between 1997 and 2006 Senior Officer at the Italian Regulatory Authority for Electricity and Gas, in charge of Gas Tariffs, Environmental Affairs and later of International Co-operation.

Ilaria Conti
LNGnet NKE & Head of Gas at FSR
She has worked in EU energy policy and regulation for 15+ years, of which 9 in Brussels. She worked for the United Nations (UNRIC), the Permanent Representation of Italy at the EU and EFET, the European Federation of Energy Traders, as Communications and Policy Associate. In 2008 she founded EFET Italy, which she headed until 2013.
After a short experience in the gas industry as Regulatory Manager, she joined the EUI in 2015 as Energy Policy Deputy to the Director; there she founded the Gas area of the Florence School of Regulation, initiating its current research, training and policy debate activities.
She currently directs and teaches in a number of residential and online courses on gas policy and regulation. She authored or co-authored articles and publications on gas market design, sector coupling, taxonomy, green gases and decarbonisation.
Ilaria has been working as advisor to the EU Commission on a number of strategic research projects on LNG, hydrogen, Guarantees of origin and sector coupling. She also cooperates with DG Energy as external expert on the EU-China Energy Cooperation Platform and participates in the works of the EU Clean Hydrogen Alliance.
Dr. Jayesh Parmar

Dr. Jayesh Parmar leads Energy Advisory services at Baringa Partners, a consultancy with deep energy expertise. Jayesh has led the development of wholesale and retail market mechanisms in gas and electricity in a number of markets in Europe. He has worked with a number of players and asset investors in the LNG value chain, from liquefaction to regasification, and across the commercial contracting for LNG, capacity, developing the strategies and capabilities for the supply, marketing and trading of LNG. He is also working with a number of companies on the energy transition and their strategies and plans for this.
Jayesh has B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering and is a Chartered Engineer.
Marzia Sesini
LNGnet NKE & Research Associate at FSR
Marzia Sesini is a Research Associate in the Natural Gas Area at the Florence School of Regulation. Her research interests span from energy security and security of supply to the decarbonisation of the energy system, renewable gas, and technologies for the energy sector to cross-infrastructure integration and distribution network optimisation modeling.
Dr. Sesini has been a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Chaire Economie du Climat (Université Paris-Dauphine; Institut Europlace de Finance - Paris) investigating policy-supporting mechanisms to create a market driver for renewable gases and to back the decarbonisation of the EU natural gas grid.
She has also accrued extensive experience in the energy industry at the corporate and academic levels.
Gunnar Steck
LNGnet Team Leader & Founder and Director at Enquidity
Gunnar has held a variety of strategic, legal and regulatory roles in energy trading and supply as well as in transmission companies. From senior management positions in government and regulatory affairs, he has helped companies and associations to understand the impact of regulatory change, to implement changes effectively, and to represent their interests in designing gas, power and carbon market rules.
Gunnar worked for RUHRGAS Transport (Europe’s biggest TSO, now Open Grid Europe), E.ON Energy Trading and UNIPER Global Commodities. From 2013 to 2017 he chaired the European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET) Gas Hub Development Group.
In 2018 Gunnar founded ENQUIDITY, a boutique consultancy firm supporting government agencies, industry associations and companies in energy regulation and market design.
He is a fully qualified lawyer and holds a Master in Political Science.
Peter Thompson

Peter Thompson is a Director at Baringa Partners, where he specialises in global agas and LNG markets, commercial and strategic advisory work. He has been involved in LNG for nearly 20 years and has worked with clients all along the value chain and across the globe. This has included supply, marketing and trading business change; gas monetisation and early stage project development support; contract review and analysis; market and price assessment and analysis; supporting lenders and equity investors in due diligence for multi-billion dollar gas assets; and the development of commercial operational processes and procedures in energy projects around the world.
Giulia Viviano

Giulia Viviano is a professional with more than 10 years of experience in marketing, management and communication.
She has deployed her long-standing expertise to manage successful institutional, corporate projects and communication campaigns worldwide.
During her Italian working experience she has been a marketing advisor for Italian public bodies, Director of the Erice Arte Foundation - which she headed until 2015 - and a consultant for various governmental institutions and private companies.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and always with a positive can-do attitude, she started her Belgian career in 2014 working for the Communication: Strategy & Projects Unit at the European Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (SANTE).
After this brief experience, Giulia has been working (and still continues) as Senior Project Manager in several strategies and projects of the European Commission, as responsible for communication campaigns and events/projects management under various European Framework Contracts for DG REGIO, CISPE, ECMW, DG MOVE, DG CLIMA, DG EAC, DG CONNECT, EACEA and CHAFEA EU Agencies and FPI.
